Based on experience of more than ten years in fiber-coil production, the structure can be optimized according to customer optical path assembly requirements and using environment.

Panda Polarization Maintaining Fiber

The panda polarization-maintaining optical fiber from YOEC, designed for fiber optic gyroscope coil, is primarily used in the sensitive coil of fiber optic gyroscope. This fiber enhances mechanical reliability, temperature stability, environmental adaptability, and radiation resistance to meet the demands of its application environment. The fiber's axial uniformity and batch consistency have been optimized. Additionally, the internal and external coatings use proprietary coating materials developed by YOEC, providing excellent stability across all temperature ranges, environmental adaptability, and mechanical reliability, making it suitable for operating temperatures from -50℃ to +105℃.

YOEC bending insensitive single-mode fiber has the characteristics of small geometric size and bending insensitivity, which can maintain good Optical Properties under the condition of small bending radius, and can meet the requirements of small-size optical cables and optical devices. it is widely used in optical fiber hydrophone and other industries. The optical fiber can be specially designed according to the needs of users to meet the requirements of mode field diameter, cutoff wavelength and bending sensitivity. This series of optical fiber preform adopts in-tube chemical vapor deposition process, which has the advantages of low hydroxyl group, high numerical aperture and good optical uniformity.

The Y waveguide is an integrated optical component, formally known as a multifunctional integrated optical device based on lithium niobate (LiNbO₃). It is a key component in fiber optic gyroscopes, integrating the functions of a polarizer, beam splitter, and phase modulator. Together with the fiber coil, it forms a Sagnac interferometer.

This series optical module is an optical component applied to ultraminiature closed-loop fiber optic gyroscope (FOG) and also a special optical module that is fused and assembled by fiber-optic coils and optical devices (Y-waveguide, coupler, photodetector, light-source) in the order of gyroscope’s optical path. It can replace fiber-optic coil, Y-waveguide and other separated parts for direct modular installation on the gyroscope, thus simplifying the assembly process of the gyroscope.
